Our dorm was clean and comfortable, equipped with all the essentials, including a shared bathroom with a bidet—an unexpected luxury! Nadya and her family were incredibly welcoming, offering us not just insights on local tours, but also a taste of authentic Indonesian cuisine, which brought us closer together as a group. An added bonus was the availability of bike and car rentals, perfect for adventurous souls like myself who appreciate exploring vibrant locales at their own pace. If you're looking for an affordable and enriching stay in Malang that emphasizes both comfort and community, I wholeheartedly recommend Semeru Hostel.
